Man wearing swastika armband refuses to leave McDonald’s store
A teenage girl whose grandfather survived the Holocaust has expressed her disgust after a man wearing a swastika armband sat proudly in the McDonald’s store she was working at.
Eshley Baker, 17, was at work when she noticed the customer wearing the Nazi symbol.
After initially refusing to leave, the man was eventually escorted away by police.
‘It’s just offensive to me in so many ways,’ she told Neil Mitchell.
It sparked debate about what was acceptable when it came to freedom of speech in Australia.
