ASADA has fired back at critics amid allegations of hypocrisy.

Former Crow and Sun Nathan Bock was linked to the use of peptides at the same time as the Essendon scandal broke, but he was cleared on Friday.

In a statement, ASADA said Bock’s case was one of several investigated at the time.

‘But that does not mean that there was reliable, or substantial, evidence of violations in all these matters,’ they said.

‘ASADA pursues those cases where there is a strong body of evidence.

‘ASADA has no vendetta against any club or person.’

Mick Warner said he’s surprised ASADA is now relying on the AFL’s Anti-Doping Tribunal, which they savaged in the Essendon case.
