Victoria’s mask rules will be further eased on Sunday.

Victoria’s Chief Health Officer Brett Sutton has confirmed changes will be announced then.

He said the state is ready to move to the “COVID-normal” stage of eased restrictions.

But the State of Emergency will be extended.

Health Minister Martin Foley said it was needed to allow for the enforcement of hotel quarantine, which resumes in Melbourne on Monday.
