Ross Greenwood on the backpacker tax

The ‘backpacker tax’ would have seen many thousand backpackers in Australia pay 32.5% tax on every dollar they earn.
However today the government announced it will look at it after the election, instead of committing to it.
Dale Boccabella from the UNSW Business School says the government didn’t need to do anything at all.
