60 Minutes reporter confirms North Koreans “hate” Australia

It’s official – North Koreans do not like Australia.

60 minutes reporter Tom Steinfort has just returned from the hermit state, and told Tom Elliott the sentiment is shared by state officials and ordinary citizens.

“The thing that surprised me quite a lot was how open they were about the fact they now hate Australia,” he said.

Tom has been to North Korea twice, but he said he’s not sure he’ll be welcome for a third visit.

“They went off at us a couple of times because we were filming things they didn’t want us to film,” he said.

Tom’s report will air at 8:30pm on Sunday on Channel 9.
