40km and 50km speed limit signs installed on same stretch of Melbourne road

It seems drivers can pick their speed limit, with both 50km per hour and 40km per hour signs installed on the same section of road, on opposite sides of the street.

The City Of Monash says that someone has turned one of the signs around as a prank but a worker would be sent out straight away to fix it up.
