3AW police reporter Madelaine Burke has revealed the latest crime statistics for Victoria, and as she states, “it’s far from exciting”.
Over 605,000 criminal offences were committed throughout 2024, an increase of 15 per cent and the highest crime rate since 2016.
“You may not be surprised to hear the headline here, child crime in Victoria has hit a record high,” she told Tom Elliott on 3AW Mornings.
