3AW Mornings has had its first fix-it win for 2018!

Russell Bassatt called on Monday to let Neil Mitchell know about a problem his two sons were having.

They’re over in New Zealand to compete in the canoe slalom Oceania Championships, along with three-time Olympian Warwick Draper.

But there was one big problem. Their boats had been left on the tarmac at Melbourne Airport.

So 3AW Mornings swung into action.

And they got a result!

The boats have arrived in time.

“They have!” Warwick Draper told Neil Mitchell.

“We’re very happy, very relieved.”
