3AW Breakfast alerted to police raid at Airport West after shooting

Police have moved in on a house at Airport West, days after an alleged shooting.

3AW Breakfast caller John said he saw heavily-armed police converging on McIntosh Road shortly after 6am on Friday.

Police have since revealed they were conducting a raid in connection to a shooting at nearby Impara Road on Monday night.

It’s alleged two shots were fired into a home just before 11pm.

Nobody was injured.

It’s believed the victims are known to the targets of this morning’s raid.
