Federal Health Minister Mark Butler has made a push for a blanket ban on vaping devices without a prescription, but there has been push back on this idea.

CEO at Qld Network of Alcohol and other Drug Agencies, Dr Rebecca Lang, believes a blanket ban on vaping “certainly won’t stop people from accessing vapes”.

She also claimed the move would “risk criminalisation” and would be an “enormous waste of government resources and police time hassling people who are just vaping”.
