The alarming measure some students are resorting to during year 12 exams
Students are wearing nicotine patches during their final exams because they’re addicted to vapes, alarming new research led by the Cancer Council has found.
The Generation Vape study found more than two-thirds of 14 to 17-year-olds had used a vape containing nicotine.
Founding chairman of Australia Tobacco Harm Reduction Association, Dr Colin Mendelsohn, says while the figures are high, research indicates vaping is less harmful than smoking cigarettes.
