Missing cat returned after eight years

A family have been reunited with their cat after eight years.

“Year Of The Cat” told the Rumour File last Friday about the incredible reunion.

In a video posted online, the Crossland family recorded father Steve’s surprise.

“You’re shi**** me!?”

Speaking to Ross and John, Steve Crossland said his wife got a phone call last Thursday from Coldstream Animal Aid.

“We said what cat, because we had sort of moved on a bit.”

He said Silvie, a purebread British Shorthair Lilac Kitten, was well looked after by an elderly lady.

“Apparently she was at a lady’s house and she didn’t go to any authorities to find out whose cat it was.

“She’s moved into a nursing home now so they handed her in.”
