“Massive” explosion, car bursts into flames at St Kilda

A car has burst into flames outside the Palais Theatre.

The dramatic incident happened on Monday morning.

3AW Breakfast listeners reported hearing a massive explosion.

“I could feel the heat as I went past it,” listener Mark told Ross and John.

Nobody was in the car.

“I could feel the heat as I went past.”
