Major Western Freeway traffic delays after dramatic truck fire
There are major delays on the Western Freeway following a dramatic truck fire at Rockbank.
The burning truck was spotted by police as it was driven towards the city about 11.40pm yesterday.
Police flagged the truck down and then helped haul the driver from cabin.
The fire has been extinguished but major delays remain due to the clean-up.
Drivers can move around the truck, but traffic is moving very slowly and stopped at a near-standstill from Melton.
Motorists heading into the city are advised to take the Melton Highway instead.
