Body found in Frankston car fire

A body has been discovered following a car fire in Frankston South.

Fire crews were called to the blaze on Golf Links Road about 7pm.

The body of the man, who is yet to be formally identified, was discovered within the vehicle while fire crews extinguished the blaze.

The exact circumstances surrounding his death are yet to be established.

The investigation is ongoing.
